The growth of civilization was not without challenge. Time after time we have been pushed to the brink of destruction, only to emerge alive and transformed. These metamorphoses thus became synonymous with our growth. In the past, many doubters have said that we have traversed on holy grounds in our path through history. That every step we took was yet another slight against Gaia herself.
